Dr. Selabh Thakur has completed his masters (M.D.S) in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from the Rajiv Gandhi University. He has 14 years of experience in managing dental problems of kids (as till 2024). He is the proprietor of Kid-o-dentist™ as well as one of the leading pedodontic consultant at numerous renowned Hospitals and private dental clinics. He also has been a teacher (assistant professor) at the renowned Yogita Dental college and Hospital for 6+ years and continues to be a mentor to many budding dentists. A teacher and a keen learner himself likes to be always updated and refined in his knowledge and skills. Hence even after a meritorious student life he has continued learning many new techniques and skills. Conscious Sedation, Up to date BLS, Myobraces n Trainer systems, Zirconia crowns – the new Biofex crowns, preformed space maintainers, “S.M.A.R.T.” treatments etc would be a few to name. At Kid-O-Dentist TM, his forte is preventive and interceptive dentistry. Be it habit corrections, serial/timed extracions, myofunctional appliances to ‘Invisalign’ or ‘Invis –first’, all are carried out Kid-O-Dentist TM.
The co-founder of Kid-O-Dentist™, Dr. Pranita is a Gold medalist Orthodontist of her batch. Equipped with a very skilled pair of hands, she is well trained in many advanced treatment modalities like lingual orthodontics, Myobraces, PAAO, Orthognathic surgery, implant assisted orthodontics etc. She is also a consultant at many private dental clinics in Mumbai,mira road. Dr. Pranita and Dr. Selabh form a great team preventing and intercepting mal- alignments and jaw mal-developments at an early age.
